We need to bring this blog back to life! Saturday night, Greg, Jake and I had an epic game night at Jake's place. This pic is while playing Takaido, a game about traveling a route in Japan.

With large events, Passover and general life taking over, I have neglected blogging, correspondence, and creativity altogether lately. Not OK, not a good excuse.

My mom and I went down to Florida with her parents for a few days of Passover. We spent an afternoon at a sea turtle rescue, and that's where I saw the above little guy.

It may still be winter but....

It is warmer here than Boston and Asheville - time for TOMS!

First Week in Kodiak

Day #2 on Kodiak Island - I drove down the road (there are only ~100 miles of paved road on the whole island) and found this neat beach off the road.  I wandered along for a bit and stumbled across a pair of Bald Eagles.  Once it warms up a bit, I might to SUP or surf.  In a wet suit of course!

The most wonderful time...

Had a morning meeting at the Taj today to look at some event space, and while waiting in the lobby, was wowed by this gingerbread scene of Boston. 

Pasta!

For Chanukah, my parents got me an awesome pasta maker attachment for my Kitchenaid, and I'm a little obsessed with it. Above is my first attempt with it, and it turned out so well...I may never buy pasta again.

Thanksgivingukkah

Yesterday my family did a belated Thanksgiving and Chanukah celebration. My mom put together this cornucopia filled with fruit, dreidels, and gelt, and then we had to add our menurkey to the centerpiece. Very festive.

Well it's currently 6 degrees this evening, but it was a balmy 17 earlier today.  The sun peaked out, so I got to go on a walk and see the amazing mountains from my street!  I also found some sweet trails near my place I will check to snow shoe on.
